England vs Croatia World Cup semi-final pulls 420,000 viewers at 4am
More than 400,000 Australians tuned in to watched the FIFA World Cup semi-final match between England and Croatia yesterday morning, according to OzTam’s overnight preliminary ratings.
The semi final match, which commenced at 4am (AESTD), had an average audience of 420,000 viewers – 333,000 metro viewers and 90,000 regional viewers. The result put SBS’ metro share up to 64.5% in its time slot.
Did this include all the pubs, which were full to the brim…? Counting per person, per pub as 1 extra? It’s all pie in the sky isnt it?
Good question. No they don’t.
The OzTam ratings system only attempts to estimate in-home viewing.
