ESPN’s Lance Peatey confident for Australian summer of cricket as Cricinfo relaunches
Lance Peatey, ESPN ANZ director digital products and partnerships, is confident the dispute between the Australian Cricketers Association and Cricket Australia will be resolved.
Commenting ahead of today’s global relaunch of the ESPNcricinfo website and app, Peatey told Mumbrella the company was looking forward to covering a “massive summer of cricket” despite the dispute currently underway.
As a massive Cricinfo fan, I detest this new layout. The old site was pretty much perfect, this feels like change for change’s sake.
Did anybody even bother to edit this article? It is littered with spelling and grammar errors, it is also incoherent in places: “Everyone in Australia is probably concerned that if we don’t reach an agreement, everyone in Australia would be concerned because our summer would just not be the same.” – What??
Yeah…find the new layout really chaotic as well and switching the comments to now have facebook integration I’m not a big fan of either. Sometimes things are perfect just the way they are. I’m a software developer myself and moving around the site is a massive pain. not intuitive at all which is sad because this one of the websites that I visit the most
