Extended Celebrity Apprentice wins Wednesday

Nine’s 90 minute episode of The Celebrity Apprentice was a strong performer on Wednesday night.

The extension came because the show is usually stripped five nights a week but tonight the network will be carrying a Michael Jackson special. As a result Nine showed both the celebrity challenge – which involved creating a live promotion for P&O – and the boardroom showdown last night.

The show was coded in two parts. One part rated 1.252m, top for the night, while the other part rated 974,000, eighth for the night.

Second last night was Gruen Planet on ABC1 with 1.18m according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
