Face of Old Spice Isaiah Mustafa teases Footy Show panel
Nine’s Footy Show has included a piece of brand funded content from Old Spice as part of the show.
The work was shot as part of Isaiah Mustafa’s brief visit to Australia to create content to promote the Procter & Gamble brand.
In the pre-recorded spot Mustafa poked fun at the “Australian sporting royalty” panelists.
That just never stops being funny.
Given we all saw the Old Spice adverts when they were such a hit in the US (last year?), this all seems a bit old hat now.
I agree, I only enjoy watching things that haven’t been conceived of yet. Everything else is sooooo…..dated.
LIke it or not, these kind of things are globally accessible, and therefore date. Flogging a dead horse really isn’t recommened (hello Coles?!), unless its excecuted well, which this isn’t.
I liked it. It was funny. I wanted to watch it, which compared to a lot of ads that makes a change. Good on Old Spice- decent.
I would like to add to my earlier comment that although I find the concept very amusing I wouldn’t be seen dead using the product.
