Facebook isn’t dying but it needs to evolve more
Social media platform Facebook isn’t dying argues RMIT’s Patrick Kelly, however to maintain its dominance the website needs to evolve
Researchers John Cannarella and Joshua Spechler from Princeton University made headlines last week when they predicted that Mark Zuckerberg’s almighty Facebook would shed 80% of its users by 2017.
The study follows reports that more than 11 million young people have left the social media giant since 2011.

“It must not force-feed us advertisements”
Good luck with that one!
I use to really enjoy Facebook and then I realised that I wasn’t seeing any of my friends and now I couldn’t even tell you when I last saw them. It was communication through words. I was brought up to be social and interact with people. A bit like email and sms, no face to face. I find all this social stuff really depressing and I really mean that. I go on FB and then I go off it and then Im back…. honestly I think the world was a better place without it and I am trying very hard to get back into the habit of phoning people and seeing people.
Facebook is for old people.
It won’t die (soon), but it’s very uncool.
