Fairfax New Zealand launches Auckland Now news and entertainment site

Fairfax New Zealand has launched Auckland Now, a website covering sport, news and entertainment for the North Island city.

The new site replaces the Auckland section of stuff.co.nz.  

The editorial team will be lead by Fairfax Media editor Miriyana Alexander.

Mitchell Murphy, Publisher of Auckland Now and Fairfax Auckland’s General Manager said: “We’ll champion and celebrate all things Auckland, but also have the luxury of calling on resources of Fairfax’s 750+ editorial staff throughout New Zealand to provide extensive coverage of major breaking news events across the country.”
