Fetch TV joins the FAST lane, adds 8 free ad-supported streaming channels

Fetch TV has added eight free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels to its aggregation platform as a free inclusion for all users, with more to come.

The initial FAST channel line-up on Fetch includes Fail Army, Pet Collective, People Are Awesome, Nosey, Outdoor Channel, Insight TV, In Trouble, and In Wonder.

In 2020, connected TV (CTV) advertising spending in the United States reached 9.03 billion U.S. dollars, out of which spending on YouTube ads accounted for 1.56 billion dollars. Hulu was the leading CTV advertiser in the country, with an ad revenue of 2.17 billion.

Advertising on CTVs is a growing trend combining the ease of online advertising and reach of TV. Tailored, skippable ads can be served to target audiences while they are streaming video content on their TVs. At current pace, CTV ad spend is expected to grow to 27.47 billion U.S. dollars by the end of 2025.
