Finalists announced for AIMIA’s 20th Annual Awards

Australia’s digital industry association AIMIA has announced the finalists for its 20th Annual Awards, with 171 entries selected as finalists across 32 categories.

The winners of the digital awards known as ‘The Amys’ will be celebrated at a ceremony in Sydney on April 3.

AIMIA Awards judging chair Paul McCarthy said in a statement:“Increasingly, we’re seeing technology innovation break new frontiers of digital media and services. This year’s finalists feature serious tech such as 3D printing, data-science, eye-tracking and even robotics, to provide new and more engaging customer experiences.”

The awards categories increased from 23 in 2013 to 32, with the categories divided into eight major divisions: Websites & Online Services; Smartphone Apps and Services; Tablet Apps and Services; Digital Advertising; Social Media; Video; Enterprise; Cross Platform; as well as awards for Effective and Innovative new Digital Product or Service.
