Fishing for a way to stand out

Dr. Mumbo salutes the initiative of successful Group M recruit, Eleanor Popham.
After finding a statistic that suggests the attention span of the average consumer is less than that of a goldfish, Ms Popham sent the WPP media agency group’s MGrad program the gift of an office pet, along with her application.
And happily, it got her the gig.

Which is a relief for Dr. Mumbo to hear. Last time some bright marketing spark sent goldfish to media agencies, it didn’t go quite as well.
But those ‘facts’ aren’t even true. Grrrr…..
