Food and tech intersect at Foodora drone delivery event

To encourage discussion about how food and tech are intersecting both now and in the future, restaurant home delivery app Foodora teamed with digital innovation agency IE Digital to use drones to deliver lunch to a select group of retailers.

Toon Gyssels, CEO and co-founder at Foodora Australia, told Mumbrella: “With the fast technological advancements – just look at the self-driving cars – there is no doubt that technology can change the landscape of logistics, and now, of course, the food delivery space.

“Technology is a leading regulation from that perspective, as it is obviously a complicated matter, not only from a safety perspective but also for privacy.”
