Former AFR and Refinery29 talent join Missing Perspectives

Former Australian Financial Review reporter Natasha Gillezeau and Refinery29 editor Alicia Vrajlal have joined Missing Perspectives, a global media platform for young female reporters and content creators.

The announcement:

Missing Perspectives has hired Alicia Vrajlal as editorial & partnerships lead (former senior culture editor at Refinery29 and editor of HuffPost Australia), and Natasha Gillezeau as product & strategy lead (former reporter at Australian Financial Review and GQ Australia).

Fabulous initiative! The youth voice is often missing from critical news stories. Their perspectives and insights are so important – after all it is their generation that will prosper from or bear the brunt of decisions made today. With age, tends to come a more conservative approach and acquired wisdom, with youth, a challenge of the status quo and energy. A respectful mix of both perspectives needs to be heard in the media.
