Former Authentic Entertainment CEO John Wardley leaves amid launch of new division

McGinn
Former Authentic Entertainment chief executive John Wardley has left the business following the formal launch of the firm’s new full service creative division, Authentic Creative Lab.
While Wardley helped set up the new operation, it will be led by head of integration Vanessa Richards.
Wardley, who took from Simon Joyce as CEO in mid 2013, left Authentic in September according to his LinkedIn profile, and has taken a chief marketing role with Netherlands-based Fontem Ventures.
And the saga continues..
Another CEO, another name change. This is the best content they have ever come up with.
Not quite sure what the ‘Authentic Creative Lab’ actually does? Looks like more ‘sizzle than substance’.
this happened months ago… not sure why it’s worthy of a press release or story now…
Should never have merged Igloo and MCM.
How is this even news?
Wardley left months ago
A company part rebrands and does the same work for the same clients.
A few staff get promoted so they don’t leave.
McGinn make the same promises.
Can we please have more articles on leadership changes at Authentic? The comments are always gold!
So McGinn fired Simon Joyce and paid him out his contract so he could put his mate Wardley in as CEO for a couple of hundred grand a year, and now he has got rid of him too, all the while Tony earned $800k for his efforts guiding the company to a $2.8 million loss.
With that sort of leadership I hope McGinn has allocated some money to give himself a bonus this year.
Meanwhile the MCMers over at Emotive are busy creating content and winning awards.
Another press release, another rebrand, another CEO change. Me thinks ‘Authentic’ should change their name to ‘Erratic’. Much more appropriate.
@Uncertain LOL though I was thinking more ‘Pathetic’
