Former M&C Saatchi head returns as new managing director
A former head of M&C Saatchi has returned to the agency as its new managing director.
On Thursday, the group announced Tanya Vragalis as the new MD “with a focus on leading M&C’s client delivery model with Woolworths Group’s Greenhouse Collective”.
Vragalis left M&C in 2017 after serving as its group head, when she moved to TBWA\Australia. Prior to her return to M&C, Vragalis worked as managing director for TBWA.
“We’ve built a fantastic working model with the Woolworths Group that’s currently evolving, and we’re taking on the challenge of expanding our capabilities in digital and data-first brand experiences,” M&C Saatchi APAC CEO Justin Graham said.
“Tanya is an integral part of this plan. She brings a passion for innovation and a strategic mindset to the ever-evolving creative landscape.”
Vragalis has led successful high-profile campaigns, such as the launch of Amazon in the Australian market and worked with brands including CommBank, Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Tourism New Zealand and Optus Business.
“I’m thrilled to be (re)joining M&C Saatchi Group in this exciting new era,” she said of the new appointment.
“There’s significant momentum and transformation in progress so it’s a great time to join. I’m particularly excited to collaborate with Steve Coll, our clients & the talented team that form part of the Greenhouse Collective to help drive growth for the Woolworths Group.”
