Former Nine News director launches legal action against network after departure

The former Nine News Queensland director has reportedly launched legal action against the network after her departure last month.

At the time, it was reported that Amanda Paterson was dismissed effective immediately after 31 years with Nine and had held the news director role since 2016.

A Nine spokesperson told Mumbrella at the time: “Nine can confirm a leadership change was announced within the Queensland TV News & Current Affairs department.”
