Foxtel deals boost STV film offering

Subscription TV provider Foxtel has finalised a distribution deal with Studiocanal, and completed arrangements with Hopscotch Entertainment One, ICON and Transmission Films, to boost its Foxtel Movies offering.

The announcement:

Foxtel today announced it had boosted its exclusive movie offering after finalising a distribution arrangement with Studiocanal which completes agreements with four of Australia’s key independent movie distributors. In addition to Studiocanal, Foxtel has already signed exclusive deals with Hopscotch Entertainment One, ICON, and Transmission Films.

These deals will see premiere movies and classic library titles supplied to Foxtel Movies channels, available to customers of Foxtel, Foxtel Play, and the soon to be launched online and on-demand movie service Presto.
