Foxtel Group has snared the exclusive Australian broadcasting rights for the Masters Tournament, marking the first time all four major golf tournaments will be available exclusively through the same network.
Foxtel’s new rights deal builds on its existing broadcast partnership with Augusta National Golf Club Masters, home of the tournament, and sees the April event join the U.S Open, The Open Championship, and the PGA Championship on Foxtel and Kayo Sports’ 2025 golfing calendar.
Fox Sports Australia’s Warren Smith and former PGA Tour player Paul Gow will anchor the local commentary, with analysis directly from Augusta National.
Foxtel Group’s executive director – commercial, sport, Rebecca McCloy, said the deal marks “a milestone for Australian fans of the game, who now have a single, exclusive destination to enjoy golf’s biggest and best tournaments”.
Golf is one of the top-five performing sports across Foxtel’s platforms.
McCloy said the sport draws “a broad and highly engaged audience”, and the Masters “aligns perfectly with the premium sports offering that defines Foxtel and Kayo Sports”.
