Foxtel launches Foxtel First loyalty program to encourage customer tenure
Foxtel has launched its first-ever loyalty program which will reward customers based entirely on tenure.
Foxtel First has four levels of rewards, based on length of tenure, each with different rewards.

Foxtel will now be rewarding customers for their tenure with Foxtel First
Well too late because when i put down comments along these lines you ignored them. Thats why you lost me as a customer.
Bad idea and won’t last. Foxtel still has not learned anything. Keep Kayo Sports and get rid of everything else. No Foxtel IQboxes or even Fetch Boxes and stop trying to add integrated clattering stuff like Netflix, ABC etc
Amazon can take over HBO anytime when they want and anytime they want so even when Disney+ comes out forget about the drama and entertainment package.
Smoke and mirrors. As a customer since the 90’s I rang to join and was told I was ineligible as ours is through Telstra. Doesn’t change that I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years. BS Foxtel!
Too right Keith. The CEO is obviously trying to
copy the Sky UK strategy of putting the ‘customer first’. Having worked abroad a lot there is no comparison between their service and the one Foxtel is offering…smoke and mirrors is a perfect description. Foxtel couldn’t care any less about their customers, they are dying on their feet and are desperate to retain as many customers as possible before the launch and takeover of platforms such as Disney!

The best way to keep customers and get new ones is to drop the excessive cost of the platinum package. It would also be nice to be able to pick the channels you want rather than having 75% of the channels that you never watch forced upon you and making you pay for them
Total agree
Unfortunately to little too late. Lifetime customer who just couldn’t justify the expense
Downsized to kayo just for AFL
What a surprise, a foxtel article and nothing but negativity.
People are never happy, even when getting free shit.
Well when you give nothing back to your loyal customers, that have paid hundreds and thousands of dollars for their service since it started, a little ‘thank you for making us filthy rich’ doesn’t go astray.
Total agree
I agree, have a choice of channels instead of being given channels in a package which you never watch. Complete waste
That foxtel is a business that has to make money here and now. It’s nice to say ‘cut your prices’ but they’re not a Netflix where investors will pump money into a business that can’t make a profit. I really question the business sense of those in the ad industry when you see any post about foxtel full of these comments.

I have been with austar when it first arrived then the change to foxtel. I have received a free channel. I do think that you should be able to pick the channels you want as I pay for alot over 24 years. I’ve never had anything changed or rewarded for any of these years. Loyalty would be nice.
Have been a Foxtel subscriber for around 14 years. I joined the Loyalty offer today.
I am eligible under the Foxtel Terms and Conditions and fit into their GOLD category. First up they are offering a no charge movie from their store, up to the value of $6.95. valid for 12months
I received an email from Foxtel confirming my membership for their Loyalty program.
To my surprise they state that my IQ set top box is not compatible to allow a movie
download. If you check Foxtel’s Terms they state quite clearly all you need is an
IQ box, they did not state an IQ model.
They then proceeded to upsell me to another, IQ box.
I feel that this is a marketing ploy to push existing customers up to the IQ4 box.
I have saved a copy of the Terms and Conditions, just in case they change them.
Foxtel made me an offer and I accepted, they have reneged on their offer.
I am extremely disappointed that Foxtel
have acted in this way. Neville
