Foxtel offers free access to new HBO shows as subscriber push continues
Foxtel is offering free online access to new HBO shows to non-subscribers in a bid to attract more paying customers to the platform.
The pay-TV provider has traditionally been fiercely protective of its exclusive broadcast and streaming rights to HBO shows, which include Game of Thrones.
However in its latest promotion the first episodes of new shows like Westworld, Divorce and Quarry will be available for free on Foxtel’s website until November 2, while first episodes of Insecure and High Maintenance will be available from November 4 to December 3.
