Foxtel taps AFL executive for new corporate comms role

Foxtel Group has hired former AFL executive Brian Walsh as its new executive director of corporate affairs, communications, and stakeholder management.

Walsh — no relation to the late Foxtel boss of the same name — will join the company in January and will be based in Melbourne.

According to a post on his Linkedin page, Walsh’s role at Foxtel will involve “bringing together consumer and corporate communications, government and stakeholder relations, and helping to build the overall narrative for the group, while working with the executive team to drive the business into its next phase.”
