Fran Kelly returns to Radio National; Tim Burrowes to debut new media show on ABC RN
Fran Kelly will be heard again on ABC RN as the host of The Radio National Hour, a daily 6pm drive show.
The ABC announced Kelly’s return among a slew of changes at Radio National, which new chair Kim Williams has declared he will revitalise, after outgoing managing director David Anderson rolled the broadcaster’s audio division into a Content division this May; a decision that has since been reversed.
How is it possible that Andy Parks has been dumped from the afternoon Drive slot.
He has a massive following amongst both the young and old population here in the ACT.
He was the one broadcaster who consistently highlighted news about the environment issues of the day.
And it was refreshing to have a presenter whose priority wasn’t gender issues.
And why not develop a program that deals with international environmental issues. There is so much that could be done in this space. to contribute to a greater public awareness of the existential global problems we are facing in the continued destruction of our ecosystems and burning of fossil fuels. thcommuparticipate in
