Fremantle Media boosts management ranks to grow local content

Fremantle Media Australia has announced a new management structure in a bid to drive the creation of more locally-produced formats for TV and digital media.

The production company has promoted Jason Stephen (pictured), director of development, to the new role of creative director. The widening of his remit will see him primarily focused on identifying new business opportunities and creative partnerships.

Joining FMA in newly created roles are Cathie Scott as director of television content and Don Keyte as director of television operations.

Scott was previously executive producer with Network Ten. She will now oversee the production of all of FMA’s factual and entertainment programs. This includes shows such as MasterChef, Australian Idol, The Farmer Wants A Wife, The Biggest Loser, So You Think You Can Dance, The Apprentice, Australia’s Got Talent and Project Runway.
