Rusty is self-funded film and reminiscent of Pixar’s lamp, Luxo.  Rusty is a robot who lives in a warehouse, Rusty by name, rusty nature – his 1900’s industrial revolution look is suitably aged by flaking paint and rust which were given detail by Z-brush.

All plates for the light-hearted film were shot with the Canon 5D on location at Cockatoo Island, capturing colour and raw details with a range of lenses.
