Geelong Advertiser celebrates 175th birthday

News Corp regional title The Geelong Advertiser has celebrated its 175th birthday.

The announcement:

Over 200 people including politicians, business leaders, athletes and celebrities who hail from Victoria’s second largest city gathered last night to celebrate the Geelong Advertiser’s 175 – year milestone.

Channel Seven newsreader Rebecca Maddern MC’d the event that was hosted by HWT chairman Penny Fowler, Victoria managing director – editorial Peter Blunden and Geelong Advertiser editor Nick Papps.
