Georgie McCourt-Abay appointed deputy editor of Harper’s Bazaar

Women’s fashion title Harper’s Bazaar has appointed Georgie McCourt-Abay as deputy editor.

McCourt-Abay replaces Rachel Sharp who has moved to the role of editor of Women’s Fitness, a new women’s title which is scheduled to launch in September.

She rises from the role of fashion features editor at Harper’s Bazaar, which she has worked in for a two year spell.

Harper’s Bazaar editor Edwina McCann said: “Over the past two years, Georgie has not only proved herself as a fashion features editor but has also edited two additional magazines: Collections and the recently launched Bazaar Brides. Her professionalism, strong fashion background and reputation in the market are exceptional.”
