Google+ opens up to brands

google+Google has today announced the long awaited launch of Pages which will allow brands to get onto Google+ for the first time.

Google+, which launched in late June, is Google’s latest push into social networking.

Previously, Google+ had been available only to individuals rather than brands, which was an obvious drawback compared to competitor Facebook, which has allowed brands to have pages for some time.
