Grand prix delivers One digital best TV ratings yet
Yesterday’s Chinese grand prix delivered the Ten network’s new sports channel One its best audience to date.
The race, which saw Aussie driver Mark Weber make a podium finish, was the perfect showcase for One because the similar time zone delivered a late afternoon event.
As a result, One scored 143,000 viewers according to preliminary OzTam ratings – roughly twice its previous best.
Yesterday was also the first day of the new official ratings period. Seven led with the return of The Force – Behind The Line, which rated a strong audience of nearly 1.5m, but Nine won the day.
