Grant Broadcasters executives take pay cuts in response to COVID-19 pandemic
The senior executive team at Grant Broadcasters have agreed to a reduction in base remuneration in a bid to help the business weather the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The radio company, which operates 52 commercial broadcast stations, has also undergone a ‘small number of redundancies’ in relation to the economic struggles it is facing as the virus impacts the advertising market.
Not as many comments as Chris Savage’s article last week, but a much more sensible approach. Pay cuts for the executives who get paid for that responsibility. Great leadership. As Spiderman once said “With great power there must also come great responsibility”.
How much is the “reduction in base remuneration”?
