Growth Ops appoints Pieter-Paul von Weiler to chief strategy officer
Growth Ops has promoted AJF Partnership head of strategy Pieter-Paul von Weiler to be the group’s chief strategy officer.
Von Weiler joined AJF Partnership in March 2012 and worked with brands including Officeworks, Dare Iced Coffee, Coca-Cola and Diageo. Previously, he was a planner at Saatchi & Saatchi London.

Pieter-Paul von Weiler has been appointed as chief strategy officer of Growth Ops
Growth Ops chief executive officer Paul Mansfield said in a statement: “Pieter-Paul brings a unique combination of strategic, creative, and business thinking, which has contributed to the great outcomes he has achieved for clients and the recognition he has received along the way. He is a true change maker.
And thus the AJF takeover of GrowthOps continues.
Also this sentence is hilarious: “Too often, organisations only look externally to unlock new growth. However, growth also comes from within. Growth of employees is one of the biggest drivers of commercial success,” he concluded.”
If that’s true why do they keep sacking their own employees?
Someone always looking to apply their own negative lens to everything posted on here. Pieter-Paul is one of the smartest operators I’ve had the pleasure of working with and this role sounds like the perfect fit for someone like him.
Great appointment! Very switched on guy, just not sure how much of a voice Pieter Paul will have amongst the big heads who restrict “Growth”…quite ironic really
Either way, it’s the only business in the acquisition that GrowthOps did that is performing well…watch this space to see more AJF cohort getting promotions…
Good luck Pieter Paul, hopefully you can steer this sinking ship
Couldn’t agree more – PP is one of the smartest strategic minds I’ve worked with.
