Hardhat designs new brand and website for Victorian road safety
In collaboration with the Victorian Government road safety partners, including the Transport Accident Commission, creative agency Hardhat has designed a new brand and website – Road Safety Education Victoria (RSEV).
The announcement:
Road Safety Education Victoria (RSEV) is a collaboration between the Victorian Government Road Safety Partners – the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), the Department of Transport, Victoria Police and Public Transport Victoria. The new RSEV partnership website, designed by Hardhat and launched this year, brings together collective road safety expertise and provides trusted, evidence-based resources that are free for all.
The new brand and website reflect RSEV’s strategic approach to delivering best practice education programs aimed at educators, parents and carers, students, young drivers, and the general community to prevent road trauma.
The website provides more centralised access to evidence-based road safety education programs and tools including detailed lesson plans. The addition of a natural language form along with intuitive categorisation and filtering for each audience group streamlines access to the right resources in seconds.
The initiative is one of the key actions in Victoria’s Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030, committed to the target of eliminating death and reducing serious injury from our roads by 2050.

Scalable visual way-finding allows educators to quickly browse, bookmark and download the road safety education resources they need with ease.”

The Road Safety Education Victoria website is part of a series of projects with Hardhat and TAC that are contributing to improving road safety education in Victoria.
