Havas Media wins two-year suppression order in Virginia Hyland employment claim

Havas Media Australia has secured a court suppression order blocking public access to documents in Virginia Hyland’s now-settled employment claim, with restrictions set to last two years.

The documents relate to Hyland’s application and statement, filed on 10 June, in which she alleged a breach of general protections — essentially workplace rights — during her time as CEO at Havas Media Australia.

The case was settled out of court, and the proceedings were formally dismissed on 15 July 2025.
