Helsinki launches new logo for Bicycle Network Victoria
Melbourne’s Helsinki Agency has unveiled a new logo for Bicycle Network Victoria.
The new logo takes the form of a bike chain, and also represents the community values of Bicycle Network Victoria and its member base, according to Helsinki.
The organisation has also changed its name from Bicycle Victoria, and the rebrand marks the latest in a string of logo changes since the 1970’s.
Helsinki creative director John Hillier, said: “A common denominator across all bikes, the bike chain is a symbol that bike riders of all levels can instantly recognise and associate with. At a deeper level, the nature of a chain
also represents a network joined and working together, literally moving the bike and community forward, which wholly encapsulates Bicycle Network Victoria’s ethos in this case.”
