Herald Sun named News Brand of the Year as The Heart Foundation and News Corp’s Serial Killer sweeps the 2019 News Media Awards

The Herald Sun has been named News Brand of the Year and Daily News Brand of the Year, and been recognised with News Story of the Year for its reporting on Lawyer X, at the 2019 News Media Awards.

But the biggest cache of awards went to The Heart Foundation and News Corp Australia’s Serial Killer campaign which has seen great success since it ran earlier this year, winning a host of awards and getting heart health checks added to Medicare. The campaign won in five categories at the News Media Awards, including Best Execution of Print Advertising for a Client – national/metro.
