We Are Different, Herd MSL, Agent99 PR and all the winners at the CommsCon Awards
The team at Herd MSL take their bow at the 2026 CommsCon Awards (Mumbrella)
The CommsCon Awards in Sydney have seen We Are Different, Agent99 PR and Herd MSL take out the agency awards, while Orizontas’ Vanessa Liell was named PR Leader of the Year.
Those are just a handful of the winners who took home one of Mumbrella’s coveted and surprisingly heavy Pacman-like trophies from the ceremony at the Crown last night.
The evening saw over 300 of the country’s best and brightest communications and PR talent celebrating the strength and resilience of the local industry. The awards exist to recognise excellence, innovation and impact across Australia and New Zealand’s PR and communications industry.
This year’s awards saw a few changes, with new categories recognising the changes in this fast transforming industry.
Best Use of Strategic Communications has been launched to recognise teams driving reputation, stakeholder influence and long-term corporate trust. Non-Traditional Campaign of the Year has been redefined to highlight communications thinking applied to behaviour change, customer experience and innovation
Another change was the elimination of ‘Highly Commended’ rankings, which have been removed to allow the winners to more fully bask in the glory. We think it’s much cleaner, and makes for a better evening all round.
Check out all the winners below, and start preparing your entry for next year’s awards. It’s never too early.
