MKR delivered Seven a metro audience of 1.550m at 7:30pm, out-rating Ten’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here which was watched by 648,000.
There go the Habibs…
Exactly Hank! isnt a right fit for Australia
^^^^ Are you guys high?Almost a million people living in metro areas seem to think its “a right fit”!
Exactly Tim – nowadays a series non news or sport to pull in close to 1m is more than acceptable to programmers. Shows like MKR rule’s are pretty freaky in year 7 to be doing what it is doing. Shows the format is right and people to date have not got tired of it. I think 9 thought around 900k was a good solid result. Just an opinion and no I don’t work for any media outlet!!!!
Here come the habibs is a disaster. Tacky, poorly written comedy riddled with cliched stereotypes and almost a dumb simplistic narrative for the target audience to follow. Numbers will continue to fall but 9 will stick with it and not admit defeat “mid season” as its only a 6 episode season. There is no way this thing will get renewed for another series and even if it does what are they going to write about, more cringe worthy showdowns with other rich neighbours?
