Here I Am to release in June
Footprint Films / Transmission Films / Paramount Pictures have confirmed that Beck Cole’s first feature, the drama Here I Am, will be released on June 2.
The film tells the story of a woman who’s just been released from prison. Soon after she arrives at a women’s shelter, but even with with the support of a new circle of friends, Karen finds that turning her life around will not be an easy task.
The film premiered last to a standing ovation at the BigPond Adelaide Film Festival.
UPDATE: A spokesperson has told Encore that the Here I Am “will open on about 12-15 prints initially – locations are still being determined at the moment”.
