The Hitman’s Bodyguard kicks American Made off top spot at weekend box office
Samuel Jackson and Ryan Reynolds’ new film, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, knocked American Made off the top spot at weekend box office, after just one week.
Debuting on August 31, the film is centred on a bodyguard and an assassin who are thrown together for 24 hours.
In its first weekend, the film earned $2.330m across 313 screens.
Sorry to be picky, but for 2 weeks in a row the chart has featured
“Celebrate Studio Gibili ”
and it’s frankly pathetic that somebody at the MPDAA could really
spell it that way. Any chance of sending a note back up the line?
