Homeless people are ‘winners’ in the NSW Budget, according to Sydney Morning Herald

Today is Budget Day for those who live in New South Wales, and if you happen to be living rough, then it’s no doubt been a glorious, winning day for you – according to the Sydney Morning Herald, who have broken down the winners and losers of today’s state budget.

Under the canny title ‘All the winners and losers in the NSW budget’, the SMH (which is probably an acronym you’ll type into the comments section) has pinpointed those ‘winners’ in today’s budget.

Alongside ‘people who visit the doctor’ and ‘essential workers’ in the Herald’s list of winners is ‘homeless people’, who are no doubt feeling blessed as they read the report in today’s paper/tonight’s blanket.
