Honda set to take its media account to pitch
Honda is looking to change up its agency roster after close to a decade, with pitching now underway for its media account, Mumbrella can reveal.
While the pitching process is yet to officially commence, Mumbrella understands that incumbent Zenith Media will not be contesting the account.
The Publicis Groupe media agency has a 17-year history with the automotive brand, last being named on the automotive brand’s consolidated agency roster in 2014, alongside Publicis creative agency Leo Burnett.
In a statement shared to Mumbrella, Zenith Media Australia CEO Jason Tonelli said: “We would like to thank the Honda Australia team for a successful 17-year partnership. Honda is a fantastic brand, and it has been a pleasure to work with the business and help with its transformation over such a long period of time.”
Honda joins a host of other big media accounts on the market ahead of the Christmas break, with pitching processes for Nestle, Latrobe University, Queensland Government, Spotify and more understood to be ongoing.
Honda declined to comment at this time.
