Honours even in TV ratings as Nine is attacked for “Friday night filth”
Honours were almost even in last night’s TV ratings with Seven and Ten neck-and-neck and Nine just ahead of them, meaning that Ten enters the weekend with a narrow – and rare – ratings lead for the week.
Last night saw Nine take a 27.4% peak share, with Seven and Ten both on 25.2% , according to preliminary OzTam TV ratings. The ABC was on 17.2% and SBS 5%.
With two nights of the TV ratings week remaining, Ten has a share of 26.8%, followed by Seven with 26.4 and Nine with 25.8%.
Meanwhile, Nine’s sports scheduling is under attack in Sydney’s Daily Telegraph today. The newspaper reports that the midnight broadcast of the Melbourne-Manly NRL Grand Final rematch means that when families replay it in the morning it will be “strewn with erotic advertisements for the sex industry“.
