Hootsuite closes Singapore operations as it moves APAC HQ to Sydney

Social media management platform Hootsuite has shut down its Singapore operations and moved its Asia-Pacific headquarters to Sydney.

Responding to a query from Mumbrella Asia, the company issued a statement and said: “Hootsuite recently communicated organisational changes in order to drive better alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.

“This has unfortunately resulted in the closing of the Singapore office, and moving our Asia-Pacific headquarters to Sydney, Australia. We remain committed to helping employees affected by the announcement through these times of transition. Our goal is to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect.”

Hootsuite had no comment to offer in relation to the number of employees affected, if any of the team members were likely to be relocated or on the company’s head of Asia Roger Graham who took over the role last July.
