House Rules most watched show, but Nine manages largest audience share
Seven’s House Rules was the most watched program for Monday night, attracting a total metro audience of 1.473m, beating Nine’s The Voice which had a metro audience of 1.344m.
While House Rules was the favourite show across all demographics it wasn’t the unanimous favourite across the capital cities.
In Sydney, The Voice beat the renovation show with an audience of 412,000 compared to 370,000. It was the same story in Melbourne (House Rules: 404,000; The Voice: 438,000) and Adelaide (House Rules: 151,000; The Voice: 172,000). In Brisbane and Perth House Rules was the preferred choice, with it having a Brisbane audience of 310,000 compared to The Voice’s 207,000 and in Perth House Rules was watched by 237,000 compared to The Voice’s 115,000.
What Really Happens In Bali, airing at 8.45pm after House Rules on Seven, managed to attract a total metro audience of 781,000, beating Nine’s encore viewing of House Husbands which was watched by 538,000.Nine News was the second most watched show, and the highest ratings news program, with a metro audience of 1.369m, compares to Seven News’ audience of 1.335m, helping Nine to a winning audience share of 24.3 per cent.
