How Ad Standards Board had to rule on Keyboard Cat
While Dr Mumbo was not a fan of Telstra’s Keyboard Cat ad, he must admit he found himself in sympathy with the telco over a complaint to the Advertising Standards Board.
As Mumbrella reports elsewhere today, there ain’t half a lot of odd complaints to the ASB.
But one took the biscuit.
Who are these losers that have nothing better to do all day than watch TV ads and then write letters of complaints??? I would love an insight into whether it is one particular demographic in society that does it or if it ranges across age, gender, socio-economic status etc… Could it be that most complainants are over the age of 72?
Is this the same story that just ran on News.com.au without any linkage to this story?

I think you’ll find most Telstra insiders prefer this version of Keyboard cat
