HuffPo Aus goes live a day early with exclusive on Julie Bishop’s views on same-sex marriage

The Huffington Post Australia has launched a day earlier then expected, with the news site running an exclusive report on Julie Bishop’s stance on same sex marriage.

HuffPoIt has launched with featured blog posts from Arianna Huffington, editor-in-chief Tory Maguire, the MP for Herbet Ewen Jones, co-founder of The Fred Hollows Foundation Gabi Hollows and the yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins.

In Huffington’s post she wrote: “HuffPost Australia will be dedicated to producing great original reporting about the critical issues that Australians face, and to telling stories that focus on helping Australians live more fulfilling lives, while opening up our blogging platform to voices from all across the country to start a conversation on the topics that matter to Australians most.”

HuffPost down underHuffington singled out Australia’s work culture as one theme the site will be focusing on, with editor-in-chief Tory Maguire’s first blog post focusing on the topic and the issue of working on Sundays.
