Hunger Games holds onto top position as Hotel Transylvannia sequel debuts at third place

The final instalment of The Hunger Games has continued to top the box office, pulling in $1.8m more then its closest rival James Bond movie Spectre.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 pulled in $5.239m across 527 screens to take its total box office to $17.857m while Spectre grabbed $3.429m across 582 screens to push its total box office above the $25m mark.

Kids movie Hotel Transylvania 2 came in at third place after making $2.179m across 414 screens in its opening weekend.
