Ten’s jungle reality show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! took a hit last night down some 70,000 metropolitan viewers on a night when TV audiences were down across the board.

I’m a Celebrity last night pulled 721,000 – down from 791,000 just a week ago.

Jack Irish shed audience from its debut.

The ABC’s returning drama Jack Irish saw its audience fall 30,000 from its debut last week, pulling 681,000 viewers.

I imagine Jack Irish will drop again and again as it goes on. it seems to me to be burying its own story line under stodgy direction, overshooting, and under scripting.

I hope I am wrong, but I have grave fears that I may not be.
