Images of brutalised cops draw heat for Police Association of Victoria
The Police Association of Victoria has launched a campaign that one outdoor company is believed to have rejected because of its graphic nature.
The campaign, which is running on mobile advertising platforms instead, is a plea to Victoria premier Ted Baillieu to raise police wages.
The campaign, which has been picked up by The Age, reads “Is Spring Street this tough, Ted?” referring to Ted Baillieu’s address at Parliament House.
One of the agencies behind the campaign was Melbourne-based Publicity Works.
Bad Guys 2 – Victorian Police 0!!
I think that young female and the old bloke needs some protection not a wage increase because its obvious neither can protect themselves. If someone disfigured my face like that and I was a cop with a gun that attacker would be leaking all the way to the crematorium.
That’ll teach them to tweet nonsense at the football
