In pictures: Epic activation of Sydney Harbour Bridge for FIFA Women’s World Cup

Football fans converged on the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Sunday to celebrate the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Some 4000 fans representing the 32 participating nations attended the festivities, bringing flags and banners to mark the 25-day countdown until the World Cup kicks off. The event also previewed the tournament’s official song ‘Unity Beat’, and included live cultural performances and presentations.
