Sportsbet naked shave ad banned by Ad Standards Board
Sportsbet has had one of its ads banned by Ad Standards for portraying an inappropriate level of nudity to an audience which would include children.
The ad, which features a man shown from the waist up “manscaping” in the bathroom with his leg on a chair shaving his genitals, was deemed as “inappropriate” for not treating the issue of nudity or sex with sensitivity.
A commenter said the ad was “offensive” and “disturbing” and claimed it implied the man in the ad was masturbating.
“Im am disgusted that this ad is being shown when at this time children are watching it is highly inappropriate and very embarrassing what does a sport bet have to do with a man shaving his genital region highly inappropriate,” another complaint said.
Seriously, this is what the world is coming too!!. The word fuck is said openly in evening timeslots, man kissing man in daytime soaps, the female has been used to sexualise ads for years and 1 with a man shaving ( and you can clearly see the razor ) is band for inappropriateness, is utterly ridiculous. Everytime an ad sexualises a women, same action should be taken just like this one has, if that is the case. If anything an ad like this should be moved for a later time slot rather than taken down. It’s a genuinely humorous advertisement with careful and witty planning into, but hey – it’s 100% okay to objectify women with 0 to no wit other than just because, there’s no rhyme or reason for it. If such outrageous and drastic action is taken to get this ad removed, the same action should be taken for every other ad that does it with women. An example of this is the “”Schick Hydro Slim Trim” by the pool with 3 women shaving their bush”. Funny but can be construed as inappropriate.

People who gamble are idiots. What a waste of money. It’s a highly addictive activity that ruins lives and destroys families. It touches a lot of people in a negative way.
Do not watch these ads that promote gambling. They are just fishing for more suckers.
Don’t give your hard earned money to these pricks who run gambling shit hole institutions because they could turn your life into a shit hole.
Spend your money on yourself positively or your on your family. It will be far more rewarding.
