Inga in the hall of fame
The best commentary from last night’s AWARD Hall of Fame bash may have come on Twitter from B&T columnist and agency suit Inga Van Kyck.
Ms Van Kyck informed the world:
OMG! People who write long copy should never be allowed to makes speeches
Before adding:
OMG! Jack Vaughn just fell asleep during his own speech
She also observed:
OMG! By my count, that’s SEVEN creative directors at JWT in three years!!
Obviously, being a “creative” director and working for WPP takes its toll.
This morning, she was still ruminating on the occasion:
How hot were all those 80’s dudes!
OMG! How cool was The Campaign Palace in the 80’s. Talk about a HOT shop. What happened??
You may well ask, Inga. You may well ask.
For the record, the Hall of Fame inductees were:
- John Bevins
- David Denneen
- Neil French
- Lionel Hunt
- Bob Isherwood
- Allan Johnston
- Ron Mather
- Alan Morris
- Kim Thorp
- Gordon Trembath
- Jack Vaughan
You can see pictures over at Campaign Brief should you feel the urge. Sadly Ms Van Kyck does not appear to be in any of them.
i love her writing.
OMG! So do I, so, like, interesting and funny and yet casually snide and stuff! OMG!
Inga’s so hot right now, so hot…
I love the way Neil French sits here proudly.
Especially after his “female creatives are crap” comment. He surely is a role model to the industry….
