iSelect marketing chief David May appointed CEO of Gold Coast Titans
David May, the CMO of iSelect and former marketing chief of JetStar, has been appointed chief executive of NRL club the Gold Coast Titans.
Both iSelect and JetStar are major sponsors of the debt-laden club, and May is tasked with restoring the fortunes of the Titans, which has new financial backers.
An iSelect spokesman said the recruiting process is underway for a replacement for May, who leaves at the end of the month.
“While it was hard to leave an organisation as great as iSelect, when I was approached about this role by the Titans it was too good an opportunity to turn down,’’ said May.
Iselect and the Titans are the best sponsor/club integration in the NRL and possibly aussie sport. I work for neither but love what they’ve done from match day promotions to the excellent TVC. Goooaaaal!!!
